Luxury Brand Management | SCAD
Luxury is the industry that has captured my interest more deeply than any other. In my early high school years, I found myself constantly researching different fields, trying to understand what interested me and what I could genuinely see myself building a career around. It was through that process that I discovered luxury, and something about the industry immediately felt different.
Even before I fully understood why, I cared deeply about the things it represented. I was always drawn to authenticity and craftsmanship and strongly against counterfeits, long before I had the vocabulary to understand the value systems behind luxury.
The more I learned, the more I realized that what fascinated me was not simply the products. It was how carefully the entire industry is built: every detail, from creation and the people behind it to the way it is presented, sold, and experienced by a client, has a purpose.
With a background in business management and marketing from NMIMS in India and an MFA in Luxury & Brand Management at SCAD, I’ve been able to explore this interest from both a business and creative perspective. My experiences in luxury retail, marketing, and brand research have helped me understand how brand identity, client relationships, storytelling, merchandising, and retail experience work together.
Today, my interests span luxury retail, high jewelry, fashion, beauty, client experience, and brand storytelling. Outside of school and work, I created The Lookbook Edit, a personal diary of the things I naturally find myself noticing: the way I dress, boutiques I discover, beautiful places, brands and their stories, craftsmanship, and behind-the-scenes moments from my experiences in the industry.
I’m still discovering where within this industry my path will take me, but finding luxury so early gave me something I had been looking for without knowing it: an industry where creativity, business, craftsmanship, people, and detail are all equally important. Eventually, I hope to use everything I learn to create something of my own.
